HELP TO IDENTIFY PAST LACEY GREEN RESIDENTS

On behalf of descendants trying to track and identify their ancestors Local Historians are attempting to put names to people in the several photos below.

First is the Lane family wedding.

Descendents of the Janes, Hawes and Hunt families of Lacey Green would like to name people in a Lane family wedding photo.

Below the main picture is is a miniature version with numbers on individuals for accurate reference to the larger picture + information on what we know and what we need to know + supporting pictures.

What we know:

We are descended from John Lanes, 1st wife Elizabeth Corby.

No.5 is our Great Grandfather William Lane who was married to

What we would like to know:

If you recognise anyone in the photos we would like to invite comments, information and any photos people may have of shared ancestors they recognise.

where in LG the photo was taken, at the local Vicarage or perhaps Gracefields?

And does anyone know who the lady is at 21 (second pic below.

Keith and Linda Tuckwell are researching their family history originating with the Janes family from this area

They may or may not be related to Ted Janes. Can you help with these photo's?

Wedding Janes Kelly

Taken in 1916, the wedding of Winifred Ada Janes to William James Kelly. The lady sitting on the far right is Mary Janes (Tuck), her husband John Saunders Janes is standing behind her. Their only son Herbert Stanley is sitting on the grass on the right. The 3 sisters to Winifred were bridesmaids.

Wedding Janes Budden

Also taken in 1916 is the wedding of Florence Alice Janes to George Budden. The lady standing on the right of the bride is Hilda Kate Janes, standing to the left of the groom is Nellie Janes then Winifred Janes.

If anyone knows any other information on who the other people are, the Tuckwell's would love to hear.

Email: Keith Tuckwell direct with any information
